As of 2 December 2020, the Packeta is adjusting the price of packages due to the need for relabeling.
For a long time we have been dealing with a large number of parcels that have a damaged, incorrect or incorrect carrier label. Such labels make transportation more difficult and slower, and for these reasons we have decided to start charging a surcharge of CZK 10 for relabeling shipments with incorrect or faulty labels as of 2 December 2020.
In which cases will the surcharge apply?
We have also reflected a complete definition and more detailed specification of the wrong label and the rules of relabelling in the new version of the Terms and Conditions, which can be downloaded here.
The shipment does not have a direct label from an external carrier (not applicable in the case of the Most Advantageous Delivery to Address service and for clients who used the direct printing function but there was an error on our side during printing)
the label will be illegible – poor printing (low toner in the printer, etc.)
the label will have a misprint (e.g. missing a piece of barcode, wrong paper size, etc.),
the label is poorly applied (e.g. torn, half peeled off, tape sticking through the barcode, etc.)
if the shipment information is tampered with after the label has been printed (e.g. change of dispatch point)

In the new version of the plugin, only the label for the external carrier can be downloaded. In addition, an option has been added to manually send a package if it does not have a specified weight.
